Product Owner

OBJECTIVES OF ROLE:

  • Ensuring that the Scrum team has a clear understanding of the product vision and goals,
    and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project

  • Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals

  • Work closely with product managers and business teams to create and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI

  • Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Collaborate with the different teams internally (customer service, sales, marketing and implementation) to identify the best opportunities to enhance our product while aligning with the roadmap and the company strategy;

  • Stay up to date on the main latest features released by our competitors and anticipate market trends;

  • Work closely with the design and development teams to build, test and iterate on solutions that deliver value to our users while minimizing the technical complexity;

  • Define clear and actionable feature specifications, ensuring smooth collaboration with the development team and removing any blockers to ensure timely delivery;

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders about upcoming features and provide relevant documentation;

  • Measure the impact of your feature deliveries by setting up and, analyzing key performance indicators, as well as gathering feedbacks from customer service and sales teams;

  • Act as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and addressing inquiries.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

  • 2+ years of experience hands on a software product owner (ideally SaaS within a start-up)

  • Deep knowledge of agile product management methodologies;

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), French is a very strong asset;

  • Data-driven mindset with a strong ability to make informed decisions;

  • Customer-centric approach;

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly;

  • Strong time and priority management skills, capable of handling multiple topics simultaneously;

  • Fast learner, curious and creative problem solver;

  • Team player with a proactive attitude;

  • High-agency: you take ownership and make things happen.
