Get more bang for your buck

Write a few words about the company or service

Or see how Nutcache gives the lie to this old adage

The latter statement has probably never been truer. And because Nutcache is a completely free application it might be more accurate to say “the less you pay, the more you get”! Some of you might think that squirrels hibernate during winter. Not the Nutcache squirrels. Since the beginning of 2014, our eager beaver little blue squirrels haven’t slow down the pace in terms of new features offered to the Nutcache user community.

Take a look at some of the most interesting features Nutcache has come up with in less than 3 months:

Nutcache, the web application:

  • Transaction related actions (send, pay, void, etc.) are available in almost all invoices and estimates different statuses;

  • Nutcache lets you unlink worked hours (or expenses) from an invoice;

  • New shortcut buttons allowing you to add on the fly your logo, set your payment gateway, etc., have been added to some transactions and transaction lists;

  • The Registration/Tax identification number is no longer a required field on the tax maintenance screen;

  • An invoice including only service type items will no longer display the product type item section (and vice versa) when viewed by the recipient;

  • Nutcache now lets you add a 0% tax rate to your invoice in accordance with some countries regulations;

  • Invoices generated from worked hours now include a date for each work hour entry in the invoice detail grid;

  • The Time tracking by employee/project reports now display totals and a grand total;

  • You can now set your province/state in the company profile for most countries;

  • Dropdown lists are now more intuitive by displaying a ''none'' option;

  • Product and service quantity fields are now set to 1 by default in the invoices and estimates;

  • An incentive message from the Project dropdown list informs you to select a client first when creating an invoice/estimate;

  • When a PayPal error arises, a more intuitive and detailed message is emailed to the Nutcache company owner;

  • A simple checkbox in the user maintenance lets you convert a new user into an employee;

  • A new email service engine now prevents Nutcache emails from ending in your clients spam folders;

  • The items or services display order remains unchanged when converting an estimate into an invoice;

  • 2 new reports have been added: Time tracking by employee/project including notes;

  • The PDF file names correspond to the transaction numbers.

Nutcache Time Logger, the mobile app

  • The release of an iOS version;

  • Invitations to join several companies can now be accepted from the mobile app directly;

  • Time entries can be edited manually;

  • Time entry dates can be edited manually.

Luckily for all you business owners out there, our blue squirrels are tireless workers (all year long) and are always listening and committed to improving your Nutcache experience.
