There is a good chance that you are reading this article from your work-from-home office... Due to the current situation, many employees just like you have chosen to work from home (WFH) while these uncertain times settle down.

Before the pandemic, probably not everyone was up to the task of working remotely. Remote workplaces used to be less social than co-located ones. Now the coronavirus forced us to have a new point of view about work and many people have opted to ditch the traditional office environments in favour of working from home.

Even once COVID-19 vaccines will be widely available and distributed, employees would be allowed to work remotely. However, few businesses believe they are ready for large-scale remote work.

While managing a remote team can present many challenges, there are a number of simple actions managers can take to make the experience more effective for both individuals and the company.
