Product owner

Location: Laval, QC
Schedule: full-time, 40 hours/week
Availability: ASAP

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Analyze the competition in order to make the product worthy of the global competition;

  • Clearly identify the problems to be solved, the customer opportunities and the possible solutions accompanied by a complete analysis;

  • Manage healthy Product and Sprint Backlog frequently in collaboration with Delivery leads, Architects, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success;

  • Uses deep understanding of the customer’s needs to identify and define Personas, create Epics and User Stories aligned with the strategy and Product Roadmap;

  • Create Journey Map, Story Map and lead sessions with the CS/DM/Architects and all the other Stakeholders;

  • Lead Cost of Delay, Cost Benefit Analysis, Competitive analysis, ROI to identify usage scenarios;

  • Create User Stories, and lead Sprint Grooming, Product Roadmap sessions with the Agile labs;

  • Work with UX/UI colleagues with an increased maturity in Hi Fidelity mock-ups and build next gen Project Management niche software;

  • Participate in Scrum meetings and Product sprints;

  • Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters and/or Bachelor’s degree in administration, engineering, computer science or a similar field or an equivalent combination of education and experience;

  • SAFe5 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) Certification an asset;

  • 3-5+ years of experience hands on a software product owner (ideally SaaS);

  • Good communication skills in English both orally and in writing;

  • Knowledge of French is an asset;

  • Have a customer-oriented approach;

  • Learn quickly, have an entrepreneurial spirit and be passionate;
